Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant in Northumberland to work on a 1:1 basis as well as offering full class support. The role is to start on the 4th of December and will last until February half term with the chance to roll on longer. The role is full time and will require someone with SEND experience.

The role requires:

  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • A resilient, patient and committed attitude
  • Experience working with children who have mild to moderate learning difficulties
  • Ability to travel to the school for a 8:30am start and 15:30pm finish

Essentials:

  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce certificate that is registered on the Update Service)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (right to work in the UK documentation)
  • SEN experience with Team Teach training desirable
  • Level 2 Qualification or higher in relevant areas such as Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Childcare, Early Years, Primary Education, Special Educational Needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
