Learning Support Assistants – Primary Schools in Manchester!

Teaching Personnel are offering support to schools in Manchester to recruit for Learning Support Assistants to offer excellent support to children within Primary Schools. Many Primary Schools require talented individuals to work as a Learning Support Assistants to offer support to pupils aged 4-11 years old with SEMH and/or ASC, who can often display challenging behaviour. The schools we work with have a range of experienced Senior Managers, Teachers and Learning Support Staff who have proven experience in ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, Asperger’s and Autistic Spectrum disorders.

Within these roles, as a learning support assistant, you will be expected to create positive relationships with the pupils and encourage positive choices and behaviour. You will be expected to provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other SENCO and the class teachers.

The school are keen to consider a variety of staff in terms of experience, you are likely to be successful whether you are an experienced SEN support assistant, a graduate looking for experience in specialist provision or have current or prior experience support/care worker etc. Ideally if you have supported individuals with additional needs, that would be desirable however this is not essential to be successful. If you have experience within the education sector whether that be primary, secondary, college or university - we would like to hear from you!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
