Primary Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Crewe who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to start full-time. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a welcoming and inclusive environment where staff work collaboratively to ensure all students are able to access their full potential.
About the role:
- Start-date: Immediate upon registering with Teaching Personnel
- Full-time opportunity
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you may be required to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You will assist class teachers during lessons ensuring behaviour is managed and the schools’ policies are followed when necessary. Additionally, you will work closely with the schools SENCO to create and implement individualised learning plans. This may include 1-1 or small group support with learning or emotional regulation.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with young people (in any setting)
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of young people
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
- Safeguarding training to be done upon registering with Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
