Year 4 Teacher – Full-Time | Withington

Start Date: March
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is pleased to be supporting a friendly, inclusive primary school in Withington in their search for a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join them full-time from March.

Key Responsibilities

As the Year 4 class teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to Year 4 learners
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
  • Take part in ongoing professional development and reflective practice

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a committed teacher who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 4 or other KS2 year groups
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management abilities
  • The ability to differentiate learning for a range of abilities
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • Confidence using technology to support and enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
