Job description

Year 5 & 6 Teacher – Middle School (Near Verwood)
Long-Term Role | Paid to Scale | French Advantageous

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a supportive and well-regarded middle school near Verwood who are seeking a confident and committed Teacher to cover Year 5 and Year 6 on a longer-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with upper primary pupils in a middle school setting. While confidence in teaching French is desirable, it is not essential, and support will be provided where needed.

Position Details:

  • Role: Year 5 & 6 Teacher
  • Location: Middle school near Verwood
  • Year Groups: Year 5 and Year 6
  • Start Date: Immediate or as agreed
  • Contract: Long-term placement
  • Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS), paid weekly via PAYE

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Is confident teaching Year 5 and 6
  • Has strong classroom management and engaging teaching practice
  • Has French subject knowledge (desirable but not essential)
  • Can plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons
  • Is reliable, professional and committed to a longer-term role
  • Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or is happy to apply
