Are you an enthusiastic NQT or FQT seeking a new opportunity? Would you describe yourself as dedicated and professional with excellent classroom and behaviour management skills? If so, Teaching Personnel would love to hear from you.

We are currently working with numerous schools across the Vale of Glamorgan that are seeking Foundation Phase Teachers. Ideally, we are looking for Teachers that can be flexible and understanding – full-time availability is preferred but not essential as some roles are part-time.

The schools in question can be described as welcoming and supportive and are all rated ESTYN ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’. The successful candidates will be required to plan and deliver lessons accordingly which are all based on the National Curriculum in Wales. They will also have excellent differentiation skills to suit the needs of the pupils.

All successful candidates will have the following (essential):

  • PGCE / QTS
  • Child-only DBS on the update service
  • EWC registration
  • Two professional teaching references
  • Right to work in the UK

Whilst you will be working with Teaching Personnel on a temporary basis, you will still receive some great benefits such as:

  • A dedicated consultant with knowledge & experience of working in the Primary Education Sector
  • Recommend a friend bonus scheme - £50 for every referral
  • Excellence in Education Awards – recognising the positive impact you deliver in school
  • All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay
  • Access to a large CPD Academy to gain or refine more skills
  • Extra training as an NQT

If the above sounds suited to you, please get in contact by clicking ‘apply now’ to arrange a phone interview to discuss your experience and availability. If successful, we will then arrange a virtual interview. Good luck!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well aas the Right to Work in the UK. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
