Job Details:

  • Position: Year 3 Teacher
  • Start Date: 15th April 2024
  • Competive pay rate: from £130, depending on experience
  • Duration: 15th April 2024 until the end of the acadmeic year
  • Class Size: 28 children with varying abilities
  • Support: An experienced Teaching Assistant will be permanently assigned to the class for support
  • Planning: All lesson planning is in place, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging and effective teaching

Responsibilities: As a Year 3 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students, catering to their diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching assistant and other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the classroom.
  • Provide timely feedback and assessment to monitor student progress and support their development.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a sense of community and partnership.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration.
