Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Southampton

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our vibrant team at a partner school in Southampton, Sholing. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum in upper KS2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons across all core and foundation subjects for Key Stage 2 students.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN or additional learning needs.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and setting targets for improvement.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to teaching and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development.
- Support the emotional, social, and personal development of students.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment.
- A passion for teaching and a genuine desire to support the academic and personal development of children.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of SEND practices and how to support children with additional needs is beneficial.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
