Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher – Full Time – Southampton – Paid to Scale
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Key Stage 1 Teacher to join one of our welcoming local schools in Southampton.
This is a full-time position with full class responsibilities, offering a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to make a lasting impact during these vital early years of education. The role will be paid to scale in line with experience.
The Role
The successful candidate will:

Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, assessment and reporting
-
Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
-
Foster strong foundations in phonics, reading, writing and mathematics
-
Create a nurturing, structured and stimulating classroom environment
-
Track and support pupil progress, ensuring all learners are challenged and supported appropriately
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
Key Stage 1 is a crucial stage in a child’s learning journey, and we are looking for a teacher who understands the importance of building confidence, curiosity and resilience alongside academic progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
