Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity in Rochdale
Start Date: September 2025 | Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rochdale. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team full-time starting this September.

About the Role:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you’ll play a key role in preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 pupils
- Monitor, assess, and record progress, offering constructive feedback
- Create a supportive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal development
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom management and effective behaviour strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet varied learning needs
- Thorough knowledge of the national curriculum and up-to-date teaching approaches
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Confident in using technology to support teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
