Contract Type: Full Time (Term-Time, Long-Term with Permanent Potential)
Day Rate: £150 - £200 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you a passionate and nurturing Primary Teacher with a love for Early Years and Key Stage 1? A caring and community-driven Bedford primary school is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic educator to join their team in September 2025.

The role will involve full class teaching responsibility within either Reception or Key Stage 1, depending on your experience and the school’s needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the EYFS or KS1 curriculum.
- Use a child-led approach to support social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider teaching team.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress to ensure every child thrives.
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and inclusive classroom practice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience in EYFS and/or KS1.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Framework and KS1 curriculum.
- A warm, positive, and reflective teaching style.
- Skilled in behaviour management and classroom organisation.
- Excellent communication and teamworking abilities.
- A passion for early learning and child development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
