Job description

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive school in Prestwich, who are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team. This school is committed to fostering a collaborative learning environment where staff support and inspire one another to deliver the best possible outcomes for pupils. This role is to start from September 2025.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled educator who can bring energy, creativity, and a student-centred approach to teaching Year 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 4 pupils
  • Track student progress and provide effective feedback
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Strong understanding of current educational practices and standards
  • Confident use of technology to support and enhance learning

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2 or supporting early career learners
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
