Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a welcoming and highly regarded primary school in Old Trafford to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September. This role offers the opportunity to become part of a dedicated team that is passionate about providing an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, you will play a key role in supporting pupils through an important stage of their educational journey, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

About the Role

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire pupils while creating a positive classroom culture that promotes both academic success and personal development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and support attainment
  • Providing clear and constructive feedback to help pupils reach their full potential
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Establishing positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Working collaboratively with staff to share resources, ideas, and best practice
  • Contributing to wider school life and engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who possesses:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 4
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities
  • A secure understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching methodologies
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
  • Confidence using educational technology to enhance learning outcomes
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
