Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher (Full-Time / Flexible)
Location: Northampton, Kettering & Wellingborough (must be able to travel across all areas)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing / Until the end of the academic year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (flexible working options available)
Pay: £100 per day
Job Description:
We are currently seeking adaptable and confident Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in Northampton, Kettering, and Wellingborough. This role offers the opportunity to teach across all year groups, from Early Years through to Key Stage 2.
This is an ideal position for experienced teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work in different school environments while making a positive impact on pupils’ learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across all primary year groups
- Adapt teaching styles to suit different classroom environments and student needs
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to schools on pupil progress and lesson outcomes
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching across primary age ranges (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Must be able to travel to schools across Northampton, Kettering, and Wellingborough

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
