1:1 Tutor – Northampton
Location: Northampton
Setting: Pupil’s home or school
Hours: School hours, Monday–Friday
Role Type: 1:1 Tuition
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutor to support pupils in the Northampton area. The role will involve providing tailored educational support either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during normal school hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition sessions.
- Support pupils with their academic progress, confidence, and development.
- Adapt lessons and teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
- Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide appropriate feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of sessions and pupil progress.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience within the UK.
- Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
- Previous experience working as a teacher, tutor, or in a similar educational role.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and support pupils on a 1:1 basis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Relevant teaching qualifications are desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
