Job Title:  Primary Teacher

Location: Newport (NP20)

Contract Type: Full time (Monday to Friday)

Pay:  Minimum£172.98 per day

Start Date: October 2025

Teaching personnel are seeking a dedicated and passionate primary teacher to join a wonderful school in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school who most recently had excellent Estyn reports. We are looking for an educator who can make a real impact on pupils’ learning progression and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high – quality & engaging lessons for primary pupils
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs to all abilities
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Using Welsh language skills to enhance learning (where possible
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support student progress

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Hold a child only DBS certificate that is registered on the Update System
  • To be registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
