Primary Supply Teacher – Newport

Location: Primary Schools Across Newport
Salary: £172.98 per day (paid weekly)
Contract: Flexible (day-to-day, short-term, and long-term assignments available)

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to join our team, supporting primary schools across Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers seeking flexible work, a better work-life balance, or experience in a variety of school settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across a range of primary year groups
  • Follow lesson plans and adapt to the needs of each class
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Provide feedback to permanent teaching staff as required

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential)
  • Experience teaching in UK primary schools (desirable)
  • Adaptable, reliable, and confident in managing classrooms
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
