Essential Requirement: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory for this role.

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Lancaster. This full-time role will begin after October half term and continue for the remainder of the academic year, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff for the right candidate.

Please note: Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Unfortunately, applications from candidates without QTS cannot be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school expectations.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning to support pupil progress.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and EAL.
• Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support pupil outcomes.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
• Has experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Has a clear understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in education.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences.
• Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Is adaptable and confident teaching across different year groups and ability levels.
• Is available for full-time work from after October half term.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
