Year 4 Teaching Assistant - Fulwood, Preston

We are currently recruiting for a Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Fulwood, Preston.

Position Details

• Role: Year 4 Teaching Assistant
• Location: Fulwood, Preston
• Start Date: November 2026 or ASAP
• Hours: 8:45am - 3:15pm, Monday to Friday
• Contract: Full-time until July 2026
• Pay: Starting from £14.25 per hour, paid weekly
• Term Time Only

The Role

The successful candidate will be confident in:

• Supporting pupils with English and Maths
• Providing targeted academic support and intervention
• Working closely with the class teacher to raise attainment
• Supporting learning, engagement, and progress within the classroom
• Working effectively with pupils across Key Stage 2

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Have experience supporting pupils across KS2 in a classroom setting
• Hold a childcare-related qualification
• Be confident supporting children in English and Maths
• Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential
