Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Preston? We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Preston seeking a full-time Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from October 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their skills within a nurturing school environment.

The Role

  • Full-time KS1 Teacher position
  • Teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and/or Year 2)
  • October 2026 start
  • Long-term opportunity at a supportive primary school
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess, monitor and support pupil progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment framework
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil development
  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply

Location

This role is based at a primary school in Preston and is easily accessible from Fulwood, Penwortham, Bamber Bridge, Leyland, Chorley, Blackburn and surrounding areas.
