Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Garstang that is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team after October half-ter.

This fantastic opportunity is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Experienced Teachers who are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and helping pupils build strong foundations during their Key Stage 1 journey.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an engaging and nurturing classroom environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Full-time Year 1 Teacher position
• Long-term placement starting after October half-term
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote the best outcomes for pupils

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Applications welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Passion for supporting children's academic and personal development
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
