Job description

KS2 Teacher – Science & Art and Design (Dorchester Area)

Location: Near Dorchester, Dorset
Start Date: After the Easter holidays
End Date: End of the academic year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30pm – 3:45pm
Contract Type: Part-Time, Long-Term
Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school near the Dorchester area to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teacher to deliver Science and Art & Design across the afternoons.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for a part-time, curriculum-focused role within a supportive and friendly school environment.

The Role

  • Teaching KS2 Science and Art & Design
  • Afternoon-only timetable: 12:30pm – 3:45pm
  • Monday to Friday consistency
  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons
  • Working closely with a lovely, supportive staff team
  • Role running from after Easter until the end of the academic year

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Confident teaching Science and/or Art & Design at KS2
  • Creative, enthusiastic and organised
  • Able to commit to the role for the full duration
  • DBS on the Update Service preferred, or willing to apply through Teaching Personnel
