Job description

Upper KS2 Teacher (Year 5/6) – Bridport

Location: Bridport, Dorset
Start Date: After February Half Term
Contract Type: Long-Term Supply
Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a supportive and well-regarded primary school in Bridport to recruit an Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher for a long-term role starting after February half term.

The Role

  • Teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class
  • Long-term position with consistency and stability
  • Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivery and assessment
  • Working collaboratively with a friendly and experienced staff team
  • Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in Upper KS2 (Year 5 and/or Year 6)
  • Confident with planning and assessment across the KS2 curriculum
  • Committed, adaptable and enthusiastic
  • DBS on the Update Service preferred, but you can apply for one through Teaching Personnel
