Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Full-Time Primary Role

Location: Didsbury
Start Date: September
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Didsbury, currently seeking a passionate Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team this September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to grow within a supportive environment that prioritises both staff development and pupil success. The school is committed to fostering a culture where everyone is encouraged to inspire, believe, and achieve.

The Role

As an ECT, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to early learners
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and enhance teaching practices
  • Take an active role in ongoing professional development

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs
  • Up-to-date knowledge of teaching practices and educational pedagogy
  • Confidence using technology to support teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
