 KS1 Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the DH6 area of County Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real impact in a supportive and engaging school environment.

Role Details:

  • Position: KS1 Teacher

  • Location: DH6, County Durham

  • Key Stage: KS1

  • Start Date: ASAP / Flexible 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all pupils.

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents and support staff to enhance pupil progress.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A commitment to providing high-quality education and supporting pupil wellbeing.

  • Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
