About the Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and committed Teacher to work across schools in the Consett area throughout the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs looking to gain varied school experience, secure long-term roles, or enjoy the flexibility of supply work.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with curriculum expectations.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to support development.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and departmental teams.
• Adapt confidently to different school environments and year groups where required.

✅ Key Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
• A proactive and flexible approach to supply teaching.
• An up-to-date DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly beneficial for reaching multiple schools in the area.
