Teachers Wanted for September – Durham & Washington

Full-time | Part-time | Flexible Day-to-Day Roles EYFS • KS1 • KS2

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that support pupil progress

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

  • Follow school policies and contribute to the wider school community

  • Assess and record pupil development in line with curriculum expectations

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners

 

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Reliability, professionalism, and a flexible approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
