Full-Time Supply Teacher – Primary (EYFS to Year 6)
Location: Across Durham (primarily DH1 2EY)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Flexible Hours

About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Full-Time Supply Teacher to work across a range of primary schools in the Durham area, with a strong focus on schools in and around DH1. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, thrive in different school environments, and want the flexibility to choose EYFS, KS1, or KS2 year groups depending on preference and expertise.
You can select mornings, afternoons, or full-day assignments, giving you the freedom to manage your time while still enjoying consistent, full-time work.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across EYFS to Year 6.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom expectations.
- Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Follow school policies and procedures, maintaining professional standards.
- Build effective relationships with staff and pupils across multiple schools.
Requirements
- PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Ability to confidently teach across EYFS–Year 6 (your choice of preferred year groups)
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic approach
- Own transport highly desirable to access a wider range of schools across Durham

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
