Primary Teacher

Location: Cardiff

Pay: National Framework Rate (Min. GBP692.80 a week)

Start date: Immediate – end of the academic year (16th July), full-time, temporary

Role: PPA Teacher

Are you a Newly Qualified or Fully Qualified Teacher seeking a new opportunity? Do you have excellent organisational skills along with great behaviour management skills? If so, this opportunity could be suited to you.

A school in the central Cardiff area is seeking a full-time PPA teacher for the rest of the academic year. The most suitable candidate will have:

  • PGCE or QTS qualification
  • Two professional teaching references
  • Child-only DBS on the update service and registration with the EWC (Teaching Personnel can assist with this)
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

The role:

  • Covering classes from Foundation Phase to KS2
  • You will be on a timetable basis – there will also be some allocated time to run intervention groups to support children that need additional literacy and numeracy support
  • The SLT are very supportive and are willing to provide any support that you require

Working through Teaching Personnel:

You will be employed through Teaching Personnel and not the school directly as this position is currently temporary. There are great benefits to working with Teaching Personnel:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
