Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for experienced KS1 and KS2 Teachers who can work in mainstream primary schools across the Dorset area (Ferndown, Bournemouth, Poole, Ringwood and Christchurch)

We are looking for qualified and experienced Teachers who are looking for part time or full time roles to start ASAP and is set to last until July, with the opportunity of a permanent contract being offered depending on how you and the class progress. If you are successful, you will be placed into the position through Teaching Personnel and will be supported throughout the entirety of the process from start to finish.

Ideal applicants will:

  • Have their own means of transport.
  • Be immediately available for work.
  • Have a professional level of classroom management skills.
  • Possess Extensive knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Be able to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn.
  • Engage and motivate pupils by making classes interactive and stimulating.

In class, you will be working alongside a qualified Teaching Assistant who will provide overall class support, as well as work within small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils. You will NOT be required to plan for this position. All work is provided.

Once placed into the position, you will continue to receive regular contact from our team to check in on your progress and discuss any opportunities or challenges that may present themselves. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
