Are you a qualified Primary school teacher looking for a new challenge? Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Key Stage 2 teacher for a specialist partner school based in Darlington (DL3). The role is full time and to commence in the new academic year, with a strong possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
The school prides itself on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. They are looking for someone to be committed and enthusiastic in order to establish positive relationships with students and offer support to regulate their feelings. You will be teaching a small class of KS2 pupils, with no more than 8 pupils per class.
Pupils at the school have a range of complex needs which include; behaviours that can challenge, ADHD, autism, Social, Emotional and mental health difficulties, anxiety and depression.
Applications are encouraged from teachers who have previously worked in alternative provisions and also from mainstream primary teachers looking for a new challenge and who want to make a difference.
Teaching Personnel can offer competitive rates of pay starting from £500 per week. Daily pay rate will be negotiated for the right candidate, as well as the opportunity to up skill your professional development by utilising our CPD Academy. You will also be supported by our specialist SEND Team who all come from backgrounds in education and knowledge of the current market.
The ideal candidate will:
Essential
- Have a recognised Teaching Qualification
- Have a nurturing and patient manner
- Experience of Teaching in KS2

- Experience working with SEMH
