Job description

Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Bromley

 

Teaching Personnel are seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in the Bromley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and committed to helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support both in and out of the classroom

  • Assisting with behaviour management and encouraging positive social interactions

  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children (school, care, or youth setting)

  • Experience in settings that support children with special needs is a strong advantage

  • Excellent behaviour management skills and a patient, caring approach

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and show initiative

  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
