Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Harrogate

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of Primary Schools in Harrogate and surrounding areas, to help support with staffing requirements. As the UK's market leaders in Education Recruitment, Teaching Personnel is currently in their 24th academic year of supporting Schools. I am working closely with a school in HG2 who are looking to appoint two teaching assistants, one to work across KS1 and one for KS2. You will be required to work across all year groups within your key stage, supporting class teachers with preparing lesson resources, managing classroom behaviour and taking children out for 1-1 literacy and numeracy boosters. 

Role Requirements:

- Level 3 or higher qualification 
- At least 6 months experience working in a school or other childcare setting 
- Experience of working with children aged 4-11 
- Ability to work off your own initiative and be proactive in supporting the class teacher 
- Be available 5 days a week and open to long term work in a primary school 
- Be able to provide 2 graded references from your most recent employment 
- Hold and advanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
