Primary School Teachers

Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Birmingham

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £140 - £200 Per day

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Skills: Teaching, Planning and Marking

 

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to primary school students
  • Create and implement lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through marking and feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Prior experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational best practises
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students' needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a primary school setting in the West Midlands area
  • Full-time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
