Are you looking for a role where you can make a difference daily? Would you like to give disadvantaged pupils the support that others haven't been able to provide? Would you like to work in primary education but not sure where to start?
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school in Bradford (BD8) starting in the new term (September 2019). The school provides an inclusive education for all pupils to ensure that every child reaches their full potential by the time they leave primary school in Year 6. The role is full time and ongoing with the opportunity for the candidate to accept a permanent role directly with the school after a successful internal interview.
The pupils come from a differing and often disadvantaged and deprived backgrounds or maybe Looked After (or in foster care). The pupils have the potential to really succeed in their early education but are currently disengaged within lessons and general day to day school routines. We are looking for someone who can make a real difference from day one after the summer holiday and someone that can manage difficult conversations and behaviour well and someone who possesses a resilient and calming nature. You will have a duty to ensure that children access the national curriculum as fully as possible and can provide pupils tailored support in a small groups or 1:1 settings to help them to achieve their personal, social and academic goals.
