Teaching Personnel are closely partnered with local authorities, SEN services and virtual schools in the local Winchester/Southampton area. We are currently looking for 1:1 tutors to support primary aged pupils with complex and varied SEN needs whilst they are awaiting school placements. These can include Autism, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, PDA, physical and mobility difficulties.
As a 1:1 tutor you will plan, develop and provide individualised programmes for students in either a home or virtual environment. Tuition requests vary from 1 to 15 hours depending on the needs of the pupil. You are able to accept as much or as little work as you like and is ideal for those looking for flexibility.
We have had an increase in demand for specialists in core subjects (English, Maths & Primary) but welcome qualified teachers from any background.
Successful applicants will need:
- Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent; ideally withing a core specialism (English, Maths or Primary)
- Experience with primary or SEN pupils
- Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable)
- Have a clear desire to get the best learning and outcomes for children with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
