Primary NQT
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
The Kent Primary branch at Teaching Personnel currently work in partnership with schools across Kent; providing Teachers; Teaching Assistants; Learning & SEN Support Assistants as well as other school-based roles.
Due to the high demand for NQT’s to start long term roles in September 2020, Teaching Personnel are delighted to introduce the ‘2020/2021 NQT Pool’. This programme has been introduced in order to source the most dedicated and hard-working Newly Qualified Teachers to work in schools within Ashford and the surroudning areas. Last year, Teaching Personnel received a high volume of calls from client schools requesting the availability of teachers who had recently finished their teacher training programmes. The client schools employed successful candidates to work on a ‘long term supply contract’ in school, with the potential to apply for a school contract on the successful completion of the role. Currently we are looking to register a ‘pool’ of NQT’s who are looking to source their first teaching position. We have several schools who have expressed an interest already in the programme and with close contact with the agency they are hoping to source a candidate(s) though this method of recruitment.
We are looking for excellent NQTs who are:
- able to inspire and motivate children by providing high quality teaching and learning experiences
- enthusiastic and creative in their approach
- keen to contribute to our fantastic schools
- committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children
- able to provide references from teaching placements
- The programme will enable you to be considered for work in a range of Primary schools within Ashford and the surrounding area by simply registering with Teaching Personnel & joining the NQT Pool. The majority of roles will be full time/long term, with the view to completing your NQT induction; working alongside a mentor within school who will support you throughout the year.
The programme makes it easy for NQTs to find their perfect role with ONE application, leaving you time and energy to finish your training.
If you are looking for a single way to apply for your first teaching post, please get in touch with a member of the primary team by clicking the apply now button!
** Due to the current global and national events, Teaching Personnel are still conducting registrations but they will take place virtually to get you registered and ready to work for when the schools are reopened, so please do not delay in registering your interested with us **
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
