About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Penarth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young learners while gaining valuable experience in education.
You’ll work closely with class teachers to support lessons, help pupils achieve their learning goals, and contribute to a warm, supportive classroom environment.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about working with children and considering a future career in teaching, childcare, or education support.
Key Responsibilities
 Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and daily classroom routines.
  Prepare and organise learning resources and activities.
  Work with small groups or individual pupils to support learning and progress.
  Encourage positive behaviour, inclusion, and participation.
  Assist pupils during playtime, lunchtime, and school events.
  Provide tailored support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
About You
 Enjoys working with children and helping them reach their potential.
 ⏰ Reliable, patient, and eager to learn new skills.
  Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
 ✨ Flexible, proactive, and positive in your approach.
 ️ Holds (or is willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS check.
  Open to feedback and committed to professional growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
