We are recruiting for Primary Intervention Teachers to support our lovely schools in and around the Launceston area. The schools have been given access to their Catch-Up Premium Fund and would like to have experienced educators who can provide excellent intervention session right across Reception to Year 6.

We are searching for experienced educators to provide small group tuition. The small groups can vary between 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3, but 1:3 has been the recommended group size for schools.  We need the candidate to be confident with cross-curricular work, SPAG and other reading resources.

We are particularly keen to speak to previous Senior Managers/Leaders such as Head Teachers, Deputy or Assistant Headteachers, SENCOs, Subjects Leads, experienced Primary Tutors and Fully Qualified Teachers.

  • Ability to progress children without intense pressure

  • X2 Contactable teaching references
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (Registered with the DBS Update Service) – This can be purchased through TP if you do not currently have one.

The role will be part time, within school hours - days dependant on schools requirements.

Why TP? Candidate Review: "I have joined 3 teaching agencies and Teaching Personnel is by far the best agency I have worked for. I left my full time role as a Humanities teacher to spend more time with my family and the transition has been made easy by the team regularly keeping in touch and their efficient management."

If you know you can provide quality tuition and successful progression for primary children, please contact Megan on the details provided.
