Primary Cover Supervisor

Are you looking for a Cover Supervisor role in a Primary setting?

Teaching Personnel are currently working exclusively with the Astrea Academy Trust of Schools, The Birley Federation of Schools, The Steel City Trust of Schools and The Tapton Trust of Schools. Due to the high volume of work currently available, we are on the look out for Cover Supervisors/ Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) or unqualified teachers to work across these schools. We are looking for someone with good diary availability and someone who drives and has access to their own car.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will work in a Primary setting delivering lessons to the whole class. Planning will already be in place, but you will be responsible for the management of the class when you are covering - implementing the schools behaviour policy. We are looking for people who are qualified to L4, or a L3 Teaching Assistant who has experience covering in the absence of the class teacher. We can offer full or part time work, or flexible work that changes depending on your diary availability. We are seeking someone proactive, who can use their own initiative and confidently lead the class, with a good knowledge of the Primary curriculum and good English and Maths skills.
