Primary Teacher – Full Time
Location: Wells, Somerset
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full Time – Until the End of the Academic Year
A welcoming and supportive primary school near Wells, Somerset is seeking a confident and adaptable Primary Teacher to join their team from September for the full academic year.
This is a full-time position working across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and would suit a teacher who is flexible, confident across the primary age range, and able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. The school is looking for someone with a strong classroom presence who can effectively support pupils with SEN needs and behavioural challenges.
Pay scale £120 - £145 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and structured lessons across KS1 and KS2
- Maintain strong classroom management and effective behaviour strategies
- Support pupils with a range of SEN and additional needs
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching across KS1 and/or KS2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting children with SEN and behavioural needs
- A confident, proactive, and flexible approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
