Year 4 Teacher
At Teaching Personnel, we work closely with welcoming and supportive schools in the Yeovil area, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners while delivering the KS2 National Curriculum. Several schools across Yeovil are seeking a dedicated Year 4 teacher to join them for the new academic year. This role will initially be on a temporary basis, allowing both you and the school to ensure a strong, collaborative fit.

Salary: £120–£140 per day

What does the role entail?
As a Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with both school expectations and the KS2 National Curriculum. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development for all pupils.
The role includes:
- Promoting pupil wellbeing and encouraging positive behaviour
- Adapting lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
- Maintaining strong communication with colleagues, parents, and carers
- Contributing to a collaborative and supportive school culture
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable teacher who can inspire and motivate pupils.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be flexible, proactive, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
An enhanced DBS on the update service is required, or willingness to apply for one.
