PPA cover teacher

We are looking for a PPA cover teacher to work in an average sized school in the Chorley area. The role is to start at the beginning of June and is to work 5 Afternoons per week, Monday-Friday. You are required to work across the whole of Key Stage 1 and 2 (Year1 to Year5). The role is to cover lessons while teachers have PPA. You will be required to deliver Topic Lessons e.g. P.E, R.E, Language Studies, Art etc. so an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum is vital.
The School work in partnership with parents, governors, and the community to provide the very best education and care they can ensure our children are safe, happy and their individual needs and interests are met. The Head Teacher is looking to employ a Teacher who can deliver engaging and interactive lessons to encourage the children to be enthusiastic about learning. The pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural awareness is well developed and care deeply about their school and local community.
The salary is based on a 4 hour day, Monday to Friday afternoons, and depending on experience, this could vary between GBP50-GBP75 per half day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
