PMLD Teaching Assistant

An excellent school in the Bedminster area is seeking a PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Teaching Assistant to support a year 5 student on a 1:1 basis. Learners with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) have complex learning needs. In addition to their severe learning difficulties, they may have other significant difficulties, such as physical disabilities, sensory impairment or a severe medical condition. These learners require a high level of support for their learning needs and are likely to need sensory stimulation and a curriculum broken down and explained in a way that they can access.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
