Job Duties:
The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. They will also be expected to contribute to the development of the school's sports curriculum and participate in extracurricular sports activities.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
Experience:
Proven experience teaching Physical Education in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Effective classroom management techniques
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Punctuality and reliability
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus on Physical Education
Working Conditions:
The Physical Education Teacher will work in a school environment, collaborating with colleagues and interacting with students on a daily basis. They may also be required to attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular events outside of regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
