Physical education teacher

  • Full time position covering maternity leave from December 2016
  • Teaching PE up to GCSE level. Advantage if your second subject is English or Science
  • Excellent rate of pay £100-£150 dependant on experience and scale point

Teacher of Physical Education required to cover maternity leave at a Bolton Secondary School.

Are you a Physical Education teacher looking to gain a full time position from December 2016? Are you able to offer English or Science as a second subject?

If so, please see the opportunity our client school are able to offer any Physical Education teachers currently seeking a long term position.

With a member of staff due to go on maternity leave in December, our client school located within the Bolton LEA seek to appoint a Physical Education teacher prior to the Christmas break. The ideal applicant will ideally be able to offer English or Science as a second subject. The current post holder holds a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE PE but also teaches lower school English and Science. This is just a small part of their timetable but it is an advantage if you are comfortable within this field.

The successful applicant will benefit from;

*A full time post,12 months

*Working within a vibrant department with state of the art facilities

*Excellent rate of pay £100-£150 dependant on experience and scale point

This mixed comprehensive secondary school is an average in size, with around 800 pupils on role. The school is rapidly improving and Ofsted have described students as having positive attitudes to learning and showing respect for each other and their teachers. The school is located on the border of Bolton and Wigan; it is located just off the M61 and is easily accessible via public transport.
