Teaching Personnel is currently supporting a local primary school to recruit a phonics intervention specialist. The successful candidate will be delivering booster sessions to small groups and 121 with pupils who require additional tuition. Planning, assessing, recording and reporting pupil progress, and effectively differentiating lesson plans will be an essential part of this role. For the right candidate this role may be part time or full time, and applications are encouraged from HLTA’s and TA's.
The school is situated in central Grimsby and has been making rapid improvements in all areas. With focused and supportive leadership the school was graded as “Good” in the last Ofsted inspection and is being nationally recognised for the enrichment work that they are doing.
Grimsby is a large town and seaport situated on the South Bank of the Humber Estuary. As one of the largest centres of population in Lincolnshire the Grimsby-Cleethorpes conurbation acts as the cultural, shopping and industrial centre for a large area of northern and eastern Lincolnshire.
