PE Teaching Assistant Job in Rochdale

Teaching Personnel are seeking a PE Teaching Assistant to join our large client secondary school in Rochdale to support the teacher in the delivery of both practical and theoretical lessons as well as assisting pupils with any individual needs they have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEN or SEMH related.

  • Full time position working as a PE Teaching Assistant until at least the end of the academic year
  • Get paid on a weekly basis, anywhere up to £1400 a month, dependent on experience
  • Opportunity to work in a large modern school in Rochdale, graded 'Good' by Ofsted
  • Further development opportunities available through Teaching Personnel's CPD courses.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PE Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Rochdale and gain further experience within a secondary school environment. This is a long term position, lasting until at least the end of the academic year, with the opportunity for a permanent contract for the incoming PE Teaching Assistant.

You will be required to support the subject teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons as well as the running of after school clubs and lunch time activities. Working alongside the subject teacher and the other PE Teaching Assistants, you will become a valuable member of the PE department as you make a real difference in an important time of the pupil's lives.
