PE Teacher Position

A highly regarded secondary school in Oldham is currently seeking a teacher of PE to join their faculty on a full time basis. This position will be starting from April and will continue until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue.

This is a mixed 11-18 secondary school with sixth form located in Oldham the school is situated close to the A627 road and has a range of public transport links from Manchester City Centre.

• Full time PE teaching position, starting in April
• Get paid to scale MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,633)
• Work in an Ofsted graded good secondary school

This is a large oversubscribed secondary school with sixth form which holds traditional values and the highest expectations in regards to the student's progress; it is a school where students and staff enjoy attending as their well-being is a high priority. Due to the high demands of the local community and the increase in cohort of students the school has recently been refurbished and now boasts state of the art facilities and excellent provisions for all students to flourish in. In 2016, the school achieved above the national averages for all the major GCSE performance indicators.

The incoming PE teacher will have:

• UK QTS specialising in Physical Education
• A focused attention on students performance and attendance
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons
