An outstanding Teacher of PE is required for the female PE department for a Bolton secondary school.

This upcoming opportunity is set to commence from Easter 2020 or earlier and the Head of Department is seeking an innovative professional to join their welcoming staff team, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract in the new academic year.

  • Teacher of PE – Easter 2020.
  • Ofsted graded ‘Outstanding’ secondary school.
  • Excellent location, easily accessible via the M61
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP24, 373 - GBP40, 490.

 As the successful Teacher of PE you must also have a clear vision of how to further improve the standards of PE and be able to lead and motivate pupils. Your roles and responsibilities will include but may not be limited to;

  • Lead a full time table; planning, preparing and assessing all class work across KS3/4.
  • Partake in full departmental responsibilities – you will be fully supported by the Head of Department throughout the post.

The school currently serves just over 600 pupils aged 11-16 and is renowned within the local community, as its pupils make exceptional progress. Bolton can be accessed via the M61 motorway and there is a variety of public transport options throughout greater Manchester.
